If you are used to having darker hair, you may be wanting a change and thinking that, when wig shopping, this could be your moment. And it truly can. Changing a hair color completely has never been as easy as it is with picking a different color wig, but you have to be sure the color is going to work with you. Picking out a blonde wig could be that change of appearance and character you are looking for.

Of course if you go with a blonde wig and have dark eyebrows, you may way to dye your eyebrows to a close matching color, if you want the effect of it being a natural change. Also, various shades of blonde go well with different skin tones. If you are olive complexion or fairly tan, you’ll want to consider a dirty blonde over something like a platinum blonde. If you have fair skin, you’ll have more options of shades over all.

Don’t be afraid to make a bold change. Go with blonde and see how it changes the way you feel! Maybe it’ll give you more confidence, that extra oomph you need in your every day life! As they say “Blondes have more fun!”

A New Day, A New Wig

A woman can choose to wear a wig for a number of reasons whether to cover natural hair loss or to reinvent her look without a costly trip to the salon. Here we will discuss the latter: blonde wigs

Many women do not realize how easy it is to have a few wigs in their wardrobe and wear them out for special occasions. Women chastise wig wearers because the hair does not look “real.” Does eyeliner, lip-gloss, or glitter look “real”? No, but it looks fabulous. It’s about expressing yourself through fashion not fooling those around you.

As a brunette have you not always wanted to go out as a blonde? Now you can with a blonde wigOr, as a woman with straight hair, have you not wanted to try a  curly wig? It does not matter if it looks like your natural hair as long as it looks great and doesn’t look cheap, and Yaffa Wigs never does.

As a woman you can wear a new dress, new shoes, new makeup and new accessories every day. Why not add new hair to that list. Remember, if you ever tire of your new look, your old hair is under the wig waiting for you.

My New Quality Wigs

quality wigsWhen I was diagnosed with breast cancer I was devastated. I called my daughter and cried for an hour. By the time she came to visit from California my hair had fallen out. We cut off the rest of it. But my gorgeous Alex, she’s so optimistic and she said, Mom, we’re going to get you quality wigs so that you feel like a new person.

At the wig store, she suggested I try a blonde wig. I’ve been a brunette my whole life, sometimes drifting into lighter hues of chestnut, so you can imagine my reluctance. But when I tried on those long wigs and she laughed, I decided that cancer doesn’t have to be a bad thing. It’s what was dealt me, so I may as well make the best of it. At least that’s what Alex said. So I bought that blonde wig and and a short brunette wig and I wore the blonde one home.

After Alex went home I was sad. I went to the hardware store to do some things around the house, then to the grocery store, when who do I see but my old neighbor, Betty. And she says, Jeanette, I didn’t know you were a blonde now, and what beautiful hair you have. That made me feel a little better.

Alias and Yaffa Wigs

Before he created Lost, television and film visionary J.J. Abrams created the spy series Alias. It was an awesome show and launched the career of Jennifer Garner. On the show, Garner played CIA agent Sidney Bristow –a tough as nails operative working through familial strife, international terrorist plots, and wig after lustrous wig.  Being a spy is hard work and withholding your identity can be tricky, especially if you’re a 5′ 9″ uniquely attractive woman with clear movie star charisma. So the custom made wigs on the show simply had to be effective, not just for the characters in the show, but for the audience at home.

I’m no Hollywood hot shot or some top brass CIA know it all, but if it was on me I would definitely check in with the experts at Yaffa Wigs if I was in need of some seriously realistic looking wigs. Honestly, these experts in wig styling could definitely pull up any look Sydney would need. Short wigs for a brainy Russian secretary, a long blonde wig to pose as a young yuppie jet setter, real hair wigs or synthetic wigs, whatever the mission called for. They’d get these wigs and Sydney Bristow would get the bad guys. She would look great doing it too.
