The Differences Between Synthetic and Real Hair Wigs

New York wigs need to be made to accommodate the fast-paced New York lifestyle. These wigs also need to be able to address the multifaceted tastes of the world’s “melting pot”. Quality wigs come in all different styles, lengths, and textures. Although the synthetic wigs versus real hair wigs debate continues, the truth is that each type has its advantages.
Synthetic wigs no longer resemble coarse doll hair. Advances in the fibers used to create them have resulted in a more natural look. These wigs are very easy to maintain and require little upkeep. My aunt used to put hers in the washing machine for easy wash and wear. They are not susceptible to changes in weather and humidity levels. Unfortunately, synthetic wigs cannot be styled using hair dryers, curling irons, etc. They are available, however, in a variety of styles, for cheaper prices than wigs made from real hair.
Real hair wigs are more durable and natural looking than synthetic wigs. They can withstand the extreme heat of hair dryers, curling irons, etc., and are easily styled. These wigs can be customized with a specific hair color, and require the same maintenance as real hair.
The choice between a synthetic wig and a real hair wig is a personal decision. Each type has its pros and cons. Progress in synthetic wig production means that synthetic wigs are now a more viable option for people unwilling or unable to purchase a wig made from real hair, which leaves the consumer with a wide selection of possibilities.
